Big thanks to Jayne for bringing Penny and Simon over for their glamor shots. These are more pix for the cat shelter benefit, and if these cuties don't convince people to have a portrait done, I don't know what will. 

It's been a while since I've had anything to post because I've been busy making bags and working and doing dishes and everything else. But mostly I just haven't picked up my camera. *sigh*

But today we actually left the house, then left town, then left the state! Livin' large, yup, and I have some photos to prove that I do, indeed, emerge from my studio/dungeon every few weeks.

Jayne and Chris invited us to go on a drive to Astoria today. We stopped at Fort Stevens State Park, which is where the Columbia River meets the Pacific. It was incredibly beautiful but also very cold and windy, so I spent more time with my hands in my pockets than taking pictures.

Somehow I managed to miss getting any shots of Simon the dog and Jayne the human, and instead shot dozens of Penny The Adorable.

We also went into Astoria for a little while but we were so hungry we just ate and then left town because it was getting late. It seems like a nice town to wander around in to take pictures of peeling paint and what-have-you, which, by the way, isn't the same as taking pictures of drying paint because as we all know, watched paint never dries.
